☞ EAT: Vinegar Hill Bread Market

Not to be confused with Vinegar Hill in Brooklyn, this Hamilton Heights bakery might be a first in West Harlem. The pizza seems to be the thing to get here with creative options such as the Philly Cheesesteak Pizza along with the fresh baked bread, and the custom sandwich and salad options. Pastries and desserts are also offered for those afflicted with a sweet tooth. Part of the famous trio of Restaurants on the Manhattanville/Hamilton Heights border. For a more formal restaurant, take a look at its neighbor, Cafe Largo: LINK. 3385 Broadway, between 137th Street and 138th Street. Tel.(212) 281-2083. Take the 1 train to 137th Street
