☞ DWELL: 294 Manhattan Avenue Brownstone

OPEN HOUSE, Sunday, November 15th, by appointment. The brownstone for sale at 294 Manhattan Avenue (2nd from the right) is on one of the more distinct corners of Morningside Height's eastern border. Besides the obvious beauty of the architecture, Morningside Park provides the front vista with incredible views of St. John the Divine on top of the hill as a backdrop. For the asking of $2.4 million on this eight studio unit townhouse, the new owner will be responsible for a lot of exterior repairs since the property is more on the shabby side. The interior has minimal original details and not much to write about as far as finishes are concerned but should be okay if the intent is to leave it as a rental. The building is between West 112th and 113th Street on Manhattan Avenue and the nearest stations are the B,C and the 1 train at 110th Street. Contact the broker from CitiHabitats at tel. 917 509 1888 to set it up. Photo by Ulysses

  1. This looks like a ripoff price!
    Good luck to the seller
HAving frontal view of the park is great but not at this premium
280 Manhattan, a building double this size and on the same block is available for the same price

  2. It would seem for that price, the place would be fixed up a little. It's also unclear on how updated the mechanics are inside.

  3. Has there been any update on this building? I currently live in the building & was not aware that it was for sale.
