☞ EAT: Chez Lucienne Lunch Service Returns

Chez Lucienne, on Lenox between 125th and 126th, had recently discontinued their weekday lunch service during the slower months of winter but it now seems that spring has brought a new outlook. Walking by Harlem's classic French restaurant yesterday, we saw that all the tables were out front with customers enjoying the warm weather. Chez Lucienne has been open only a year now but it is hard to imagine this corner of Harlem without the popular French eatery. To get this location, take the 2,3 to 125th Street. Photo by Ulysses

  1. I wish they would put a place like this into the former Cafe Largo or the space of Talay/Pancho Gringo/whatever. Good food, good service, good style. Not outrageously expensive. Good brunch, too.

  2. This place is going to succeed! Like the first poster said, food and service is very good.

  3. Yeah, the former Cafe Largo space really is a block-killer as it takes up so much street front as it sits vacant. I wish they would just rent it out to someone else to open a decent restaurant. Done properly, it would be a huge success.

  4. Really love this spot. The crepes are outstanding and probably the best I have had in the city.
