☞ ARCHITECTURE: The CUNY Science Building



Most folks in Harlem can see the new CUNY construction rising up on top of the hill of St. Nicholas Park and we recently walked by to see how things were coming along. The $300 million project just picked up this past spring and has two curved buildings facing one another over on St. Nicholas Terrace at 133rd Street. From the original sketch in our past post, the structure looks like it might end up around 12-stories altogether: LINK. From the above photos, one can see the curvilinear sides of the facades are definitely forming at this point. All photos by Ulysses
