☞ INTRODUCING: 2080 FDB Reveals Gray Facade

Lower FDB/8th Avenue looks like it is eschewing the classic red and yellow brick for the new gray standard. The condo building finishing up at 2080 FDB (formerly lots 2078-2080), between 112th and 113th Street, just took down most of the scaffolding out front to reveal some serious gray brickwork (last photo). As folks might recall, gray brick is also the color of the quickly selling Parc Standard which is just across the street on the next block: LINK. Right now, there's still no word on what 2080 will be called and we only know that it will consist of 18 market rate condos, 4 affordable units and a storefront. Does anyone have any updates? 1. just ran by this bldg for a look. unlike the parc standard, the gray of the facade is flecked with accents of red that partner well with the red-brick structures on either side. nice touch.
