☞ SEE: Around Harlem This Weekend

St. John the Divine's Halloween Extravaganza, Friday, October 29th, 7:00 PM, 10:00 PM, at 1047 Amsterdam Avenue and 112th Street, $20.00 tickets can be ordered in advance: LINK.  Costumes, organ music and massive crowds show up for this annual ghoulish procession with silent movie presentations. Tonight's film classic is The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari from 1921.

The Mount Morris Park Community Improvement Association presents the Second Annual Mount Morris Park Halloween Extravaganza, Saturday, October 30th from 1:00 to 5:00 PM and Sunday, October 31 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM: LINK

St. Lukes Community Garden Tour and 3rd Annual Hamilton Heights Halloween Celebration, Saturday, October 30th, 11:00 AM-1:00 PM, 435 West 141st Street (between Convent and St. Nicholas Avenue).   1. The Mount Morris Improvement, etc., also began a "safe trick or treating" programme this year where one can sign up to be a safe place for local kids to come trick or treat. I found out about it too late this year but it sounds like a nice thing to do and if they repeat it next year I’m on board.

    Info is on their website if anyone has a small child and wants to go trick or treating.
