☞ VOTE: Harlem's FDB vs Downtown Brooklyn

The second round of Curbed best neighborhood public vote is at hand today and Harlem is up against Downtown Brooklyn aka DoBro.  There was a major uptick the last round last week when we advised Harlem Bespoke readers to vote for the Frederick Boulevard corridor and the uptown nabe trumped Longed Island City at the end of the day. West Harlem won a few years ago in this competition and there's more than enough HB readers to make it happen again this year!  Just go to the following link and click on the FDB dot...it's that easy: LINK.  There's only a 24 hour counting period so make sure to vote.

  1. Vote early and vote often -- we're currently down 40% to 60% with ~160 votes...

  5. Next up: Park Slope.

A tougher opponent than DoBro, obviously, but I think the case can be made that there's been more progress, more new activity, etc. along FDB in 2010 than in Park Slope in 2010. The determinants for "Curbed neighborhood of the year" are not necessarily the same as an absolute ranking.
