French doors just arrived at the Harlem Tavern on the corner of 116th and FDB/8th Avenue this past week and now it looks like the new neon sign is going up. This afternoon, the construction crew started mounting the old school sign up and the "Tavern" part of it looks to be complete. After a long winter's delay, things appear to be happening quite quickly for the highly anticipated outdoor eatery. The original rendering just had a place holder graphic for the sign and the new one looks to be more substantial:
