☞ DWELL: 143 West 126th Street Brownstone

The house at 143 West 126th Street has been on the market since April and the 5-unit building is currently set at $1.25 million.  At only 15 foot wide, the building is not the largest one out there but the gut renovation of the interior looks pretty impressive for a rental. More photos after the jump.

This property has reportedly 3,735 square foot of space altogether and the apartments are currently rented out at market rate.  Finishes look to be a pretty good aesthetic for the townhouse but the block itself faces a garage building out front  and still has few brownstones that need to be fixed up. Then there are the taxes which are set annually at $9,000 since the house has over 4 units.  More details on the broker site: LINK

  1. That is actually just two houses over from my building -- and I have to say that the garage is a blessing! If you have a car, such as I, you can run from the house to the garage in the pouring rain, and hardly get wet. In addition, the garage is a friendly, well-kept space. West 126 between Adam Clayton and Lenox is a great block, except for nuisances like the Mama Foundation and occasional events in the Plaza.
