OPEN HOUSE: Wednesday, January 18th, 1:00 PM-4:00 PM. The first preview for the 26-foot-wide building formerly used as a church at 227 Lenox Avenue will be next Wednesday. This is a bankruptcy auction and the bid will start at $400K when it goes up for sale in February. No interior photos are available yet but those who want to check it out might want to drop by this open house:

Went to the auction preview today - where people were required to register in advance - only to learn that the auction has been cancelled because the trustee has accepted an offer. The whole thing now sounds sketchy.
