☞ LISTEN: The New Sound in East Harlem
The New York Post has this great video up on the Mariachi Academy in East Harlem. Mexican immigrants are quickly changing the demographics on the east side and this cultural institution helps connect the students to their heritage. With the culinary scene changing over on the east side of Harlem, folks should also expect some of the music scene to transform in the future.
