A New York Daily News article discusses the demographic shift that has been going on in the past ten years at local colleges in the city. Current freshman at City College in Hamilton Heights now have more white an Asian students representing a (slight) majority of new enrollment on campus while other minority groups have decrease. Officials state that the report neglects the fact that more black and Hispanic students are graduating from senior college at a record levels because many within those minority groups transfer to CUNY colleges after freshman year: LINK
