☞ DWELL: 116 West 124th Street Townhouse

Things might just be looking up for 116 West 124th Street these days since it just had a price increase to $1.69 million. The 3-family, 19-foot wide building has just renter's grade finishes to it, is on a funky block which has a Christian bookstore along with a clinic nearby and faces a huge garbage strewn lot.  So why has this townhouse increased its asking price from almost $500K from a year ago?  That said littered lot will become Harlem's first Whole Foods within 2 years time and located right by the express 2,3 train.  Note also that the next door building has had permits up for renovations. 1. Three meth clinics on this block. Looking at the ass-end of whole foods does not create value. Price increase has more to do with the broker than anything else. Willie. Btw - no cellars in these houses...

    I think it's worth $1.1.
