☞ EAT: Foot N' It Opens and Delivers

Foot N' It at 153 Lenox and 118th Street has opened its doors and appears to be an affordable take out option for the neighborhood.  Comfort food entrees such as pork spare ribs, fried turkey, oxtails and sweet ham come with two sides for only $10.  There's only a small side counter for a seating area inside so this is definitely not a date venue but just a convenient mom and pop shop that sells some southern cooking for folks on the go.  Foot N' It also delivers: 646.590.1569

  1. Great news. But does it have a web site with a menu by chance?

  2. Love the addition to the immediate neighborhood.. Anything is better than what used to be there.. Glad they shut down the 2nd barber shop next door and hope another store will go in there.. I always wondered why there were 2 barber shops just about side to side until a long time Harlem resident told me that the second one was a drug spot.. I hope that this restaurant will clean up that immediate block... I also hope that the scaffolding next door to it that has been up for at least 5 years will eventually come down..
Back on topic, glad to see there is an affordable option for food in the neighborhood. It seems like there is either low brow establishments or over priced eateries that would make it insane to constantly eat out.. Still looking for an affordable eatery that won't clog my arteries though.. Someone told me they tried to open up a Chipotle franchise, but the company told them that they didn't feel the neighborhood was ready for it yet....I don't get it....

  3. Menu is here. I e-mailed it to Harlem Bespoke, but they did not include it.

  4. Andrew, what don't you get; Trader Joes said Harlem was not ready for them as have many other companies. Where Whole Foods sees the prospects these other firms lack the courage. Let's support the businesses that chose to come aboard!!! welcome Food N'It.

  5. Courteous on the phone, fast delivery service and the food tasted great (not salty). I will order again, and stop by often so look for me in the evenings after work. Everything was a pleasure. :-)
