The new restaurant at the Kalahari building called Harvist will open up for dinner service on Thursday. New York magazine features the 130-seat eatery at 46 West 116th Street in a recent post and reveals that the offering will be inspired partly by regional South Carolina cooking and also a bit of international flair. Folks should expect extravagant shrimp and grits accented with savory bacon along with an unexpected red velvet souffle for dessert.
