Most of the initial construction at the new Columbia Manhattanville campus started over by Broadway just north of 125th Street but now a second building is rising further west by 12th Avenue. Those big cranes have been set up right across from Dinosaur Bar-b-que and giant pilasters are currently being installed at the foundation of the said site. Excavation work took a few years to complete but now the building phase of the $6.3 billion campus appears to be picking up. Check out the other construction on site in our past post: LINK
