☞ LISTEN: Black History Concert at St. Mary's

Sunday, February 9th, 3:00 PM,  6th Annual Black History Month Celebration at St. Mary's Episcopal Church 521 West 126th Street between Broadway and Amsterdam.  One of Manhattanville's oldest churches has been celebrating black history month with classical music for the past six years now.  This weekend's big event will be hosted by Terrence McKnight of WQXR radio and features the Harlem Chamber Players.  Program includes Coleridge-Taylor Perkinson "Calvary" Quartet, Coleridge-Taylor Perkinson Movement for String Trio, Coleridge-Taylor Perkinson Louisiana Blues Strut, Ulysses Kay Flute Quintet, Spoken Word Poetry, Ravel String Quartet in F Major.  More details on the Harlem Chamber Players site: LINK
