Back in the day, folks would just put a listing on Craig's list for a roommate search but now it appears uber real estate site Streeteasy is the way to go for a short term share. Number 116 West 130th Street is located on one of the brownstone blocks in Central Harlem and the owner is looking for a roomie to share the duplex unit for a few months. The decor is quite nice and no broker fee is involved so maybe this would be a great option for someone just starting out and wants to see what Harlem is about before making any longterm commitments. All going for $1,500 a month and the location is close to express trains and all that is happening on Lenox Avenue:
