Carvin's is set to debut on upper Lenox Avenue in the following weeks and we received some information on the interior design.   This former wine shop storefront at the corner of West 129th Street has been empty for quite some time now so anything new would work wonders for the block.  Take a first look of the interior plans after the jump.

Everything is pretty straightforward and the subway tiles add a nice historic nod to the neighborhood but everything else is mostly contextual to the new construction that the donut shop is housed within.  Mini donuts are apparently a trend since one can have a coffee an order one which has under 50 calories and makes for a smart, sweet snack.  The press release mentioned end of March or early April for an opening.
