INTRODUCING: HARLEM'S 1ST BASTILLE DAY

There used to be a legendary Bastille Day celebration downtown thrown by restaurant Florent and now one Harlem eatery is trying to bring the street festival uptown for Sunday, July 13th.  Those who have been in the city for some time will remember the great downtown Bastille Day celebration that took over the streets of the Meat Packing District when it was just industrial commercial space. Now that said location is just an expensive tourist destination and so Harlem's favorite French eatery will be bringing the fete just above 125th Street.   Maison Harlem is now planning on hosting the French independence day street party and uptown residents should expect some great revelry right on 127th Street by St. Nicholas Avenue in the coming weeks.  We will have more details posted in the next few days but everyone should mark those calendars for Sunday, July 13th!
