LISTEN: JAZZ AT THE TRINITY CRYPT

We had posted about the Jazz at the Crypt of Trinity Cemetery event a couple weeks back and Gothamist has this video of the rollicking party within the local Harlem landmark.  About 100 guests showed up to enjoy an open bar featuring artisanal cocktails and danced the night away to a jazzy band that quite literally shook things up.  The Lucky Chops Brass Band was introduced to the crowd by the Artistic Director of the National Jazz Museum in Harlem and kind of reworked the genre into something a little more exciting than the standard shows seen around town.  Check out the above video for highlights of the Jazz Era party at the northern reaches of Harlem. More photos of the event can be found on Gothamist: LINK
