INTRODUCING: PAINTED SIGNAGE AT HYACINTH'S

Another Bespoke reader sent in a photo of the new signage at Hyacinth's Haven on ACP/7th Avenue just below 139th Street.  We are really looking forward to see what the interior looks like for this new eatery since the owners are doing a stellar job with the look on the outside.  Everything has been designed the way an old storefront should look by the Strivers Row corridor and gold on black colors are alway a shop classic.  Another detail to point out is that there are quite a few of these small, lower level spaces in Harlem and this new establishment nicely shows how they can be put to good commercial use.  An opening appears to be happening really soon for things are finishing up rather quickly at this location in Central Harlem.

  2. Ya know, I'm starting to get a little anxious about all the new restaurants, the Bed, Bath and Beyond coming uptown, Whole Foods, etc. Things are rising, rising, rising, with no end in sight. When is it all going to crash down on us? Or has it crashed and we just can't see it 'cause we're having such a good time. Or is it going to crash on some and not the others?
