Could Number 2064 Fifth Avenue have sold last year?  Some might remember that the 25-foot townhouse was up for sale back at the end of 2012 and eventually sold for $956K about seven months later in 2013.  Apparently this was a flip situation because the 9,000-square-foot home loaded with original details (but in need of renovations) had not been completely restored when it returned last year for the asking of $3.5 million.  Based on DOB paperwork, the SRO townhouse had recent paperwork filed to convert the 15 units into 9 apartments but that did not go through as of last week.  According to the broker site, the property has sold but we are not really sure of what to make of it since the property ownership changed over quite quickly if it did sell: LINK

  1. I can't believe this building sold for that price. I live adjacent to it on 127th and can see the amount of damage and debris inside. It really needs some TLC. I hope whoever bought it cleans and fixes it up soon. This is a beautiful area and it's rather mysterious that this building has lingered this way for so long.
