READ: RAO'S BUILDING UP FOR SALE

The rental building that is also the home to greater Harlem's oldest restaurant is now up for sale at $10.48 million.  Rao's is a reminder of a time when East Harlem was called uptown's Little Italy before the neighborhood demographic changed after the 1950s.  This little Italian eatery has been around since 1896 and during the time period where there were over 100,000 Italians living on the east side but it is unclear if having a new landlord will affect the future operations of the iconic spot at 114th Street .  Read more in the Daily News: LINK
