A photo from 1940 shows one of Harlem's great cultural landmarks on a major intersection that still stands today.  Who can guess the building and the location of this historic site?

ANSWER:  This is a view of Lenox Avenue looking north at the corner of 145th Street. The building in the photo was the former Hotel Olga which was the first in Harlem to let African Americans be guests and hosted a listed of notables during the Renaissance years.  As mentioned in our past post, CB10 actually has requested that the abandoned site be reviewed for landmark status but we have not heard of any progress at this point in time: LINK
