SHOP: TWO NEW STORES AT 381 LENOX AVENUE

As speculated by a few Bespoke readers, the old Italian restaurant space at 381 Lenox Avenue has now been divided into two smaller shops.  Slider Kitchens will take up the storefront closer to 129th Street and Cesare will be adjacent to it on the more north end.  This is all good news since these commercial vacancies have been available for quite some time but it also appears that Carvin's mini donuts has shuttered after being open for less than a year.  Word on the street has it that sushi eatery might arrive at some point but nothing has been officially confirmed yet for that corner location.
