REMEMBER: MAJESTIC MANSARDS CIRCA 1932


Who can guess the location of these handsome mansard roof homes from this image taken circa 1932?  This distinct Harlem block is still intact today but some are in better shape than others.  We will have an updated photo with the townhouses in more current times posted later in the day.

ANSWER: Many have guessed that this is the corner of Lenox and 122nd Street and all of the homes are still intact today at this section of the Mount Morris Park Historic District.  Archival photo courtesy NYPL
