REMEMBER: VINTAGE HARLEM SIGNS ON LENOX

Old Harlem signage has been disappearing quickly over the past 5 years and the dry cleaner just below 132nd Street on Lenox recently had its storefront partially dismantled.  This is one of those buildings that the owner just leased out the lower floor and never bothered to renovate or rent out the upper levels.  Based on DOB permits that have been approved in December, it now looks like the formerly  uninhabited brownstone will be renovated to include two dwelling units so this just might be a better direction for the townhouse on Central Harlem's main boulevard.
