INTRODUCING: LA BODEGA'S NEW LOOK

A new storefront was added to the La Baodega 47 address in the past week at 118th on Lenox and now a Bespoke reader mentioned that the entire lounge has turned into a Cali-Mexi restaurant with some wordy name which we have to confirm.   The fold out doors provide a lot more light and the space looks a little more current now than the past layout but we have not been inside yet.  Has anyone gone yet?

  1. La Bodega was one of the worst remodels of a restaurant. We used to go to Native all the time, but Bodega was completely uninviting. We never went in. Look forward to giving this new space a try...

  3. I went this past Sunday for brunch. The inside still looked like it was undergoing some changes, but they have several table tops, a curvy bar and some booths. Can probably fit about 30 people at once. The brunch was very good. I got a spinach, fetta cheese omelette and side of french toast and it all came with a side of home fries and a light salad. It only came to about $25 for the food and $12 more for the unlimited mimosa. The waiter staff was friendly, but they only had two people working so they definitely need some help. That being my first time though it was a pleasant experience.

  6. I have to imagine Native/La Bodega 47/the new restaurant's real issue is their building's sidewalk shed that has been up for at least 3 years now.
