EAT: BRUNCH AT THE ROW HOUSE ON FDB

We finally had a chance to check out the new brunch at The Row House and must say that this is one of the best weekend options to arrive in Harlem in the past year.  The spacious eatery at the corner of 115th on FDB is already popular with the weekend crowd and has a great deal for $15.95 which includes a drink.  More after the jump.

Shrimp & Grits always catches our eye and our dining guest decided to go for the an open face BLT with an egg on top.  For those who like a lot of flavor, the cheddar cheese grits with tomato, bacon, poached egg and a hit of green sprouts will not disappoint.  The BLT also was really good overall but the thick bacon was a little too overcooked and thus had a hard texture to it.  We only had coffee which was great but cocktails are part of the menu for those who want to have a little more with the afternoon out.

There are actually more choices on the menu such as Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, Truffle Grilled Cheese, Stuffed French Toast, Grass Fed Burgers along with Steak and Eggs.  Those looking or a new spot with a stellar brunch selection should definitely check out The Row House.  For more on this new arrival, read our past post on dinner service: LINK

  1. I rarely comment on restaurants, but the Stuffed French Toast was one of the best things I have ever eaten in my entire life.
