A gut renovated 5-unit townhouse at 427 Convent Avenue has just arrived on the market for $2.5 million up on Sugar Hill.  The location in the landmark district is more peaceful and is definitely one of the nicer areas to be found north of 145th Street. Wide plank wood floors with clean white walls set up a great minimalist aesthetic with a bit of rustic elements but some of that gets lost in the moderate looking kitchen or baths.    For 2015, it looked like overly textured tiles seem to have been a thing with developers uptown but sticking to the classics was the main trend we saw at better brownstones in greater NYC.  With that said, the price is on the lower end for a fixed up property and express trains are just a block over on St. Nicholas Avenue.  More on the broker site: LINK
