Bierstrasse on 12th Avenue and 133rd Street has expanded the menu a little and we had a chance to try a couple of more offerings in the past week.  A giant pretzel with a side a coarse mustard made total sense at the German style beer garden and really could easily satisfy two guests.  Another item on the menu was the freshly made fish and chips which were well seasoned and served up in small chunks perfect for sharing.  Bratwurst was another option that we tried at the opening and everything is definitely pretty solid but not too fussy.  This outdoor setup is pretty unique because of the location under the viaduct and those who have not dropped by should make sure to check it out over the weekend.  More on the opening of Bierstrasse can be found in our past post: LINK
