Number 423 West 141st Street was up on the market earlier in the year for $2.9 million and the closing number has been revealed on Streeteasy at $3 million. This is probably a good example of keeping all of the original details and restoring them without gutting the interior for HVAC systems and inset lighting.  The Hamilton Heights home was purchased about 5 years ago for $1.1 million and was in great condition but sold almost triple the price without adding so many modern amenities.  Minor upgrades in the kitchen and baths are all in context of the original architecture which higher end buyers tend to appreciate.  More information on this townhouse can be found on the broker site: LINK
