Go! Go! Curry! opened up its fifth Manhattan location today on West 125th Street just east of Broadway and the neighbors did notice. By noon there was a line to the door at the tiny 20-seater which had a special that was only 55¢ for the first 555 servings of the classic pork or chicken cutlet curry over a bed of rice with an addition of coleslaw. The Japanese chain probably went through a couple of hundred plates by now but those who show up before 5:00PM might get in on the action. Our order plus a drink was under $3.00 so this pretty much is one of the best opening deals that we have seen in some time. Read more about this special in our past post:
