We noticed this weekend that Citibike finally made it uptown to Harlem when walking on 110th Street by 7th Avenue. This is the furthest north in Manhattan that the bike rental program has advanced and there are even more stations set up in El Barrio. From the blocks spanning from 96th to 110th Street on the east side, there are 17 stations in total which even go as far out as 1st Avenue. Check out all of the locations after the jump.
On the west side, there is a Morninside Heights location on 110th Street and Broadway which brings the total to 19 Stations. Central Harlem only really has the ACP location by the park but we expect more to come in the future. Click on map to enlarge.

ReplyDeleteHate it, Hate it!!!! Elimination of parking spaces is horrible. No bikes needed but affordable housing and parking are!!!
ReplyDeleteJust because one owns a car, it doesn't mean they have an unalienable right to store said car on public property (i.e. the street).
DeleteCiti bike also needs to add the program to Adam Coayton Powell 7th ave above 125th st. A lot of people are moving to the area that would like to take advantage of the program.
