Mountain Bird on East 110th Street by 2nd Avenue has now temporarily transformed the eatery in a Japanese gastropub. The izakaya fare will still have a bit of French flare but from the looks of the preview shown on Facebook, there appears to be more fish dishes and also a ramen offering which should be quite unique. We have not dropped yet but the limited engagement is definitely high on our list for June. More details on MB can be found via Facebook:
