BESPOKE: ALEXANDER WANG CAMPAIGN IN HARLEM

Harlem Bespoke:  New York City designer Alexander Wang had the Fall 2017 fashion show at the abandoned RKO Theater in Hamilton Heights back in February and now the new advertising campaign features the historic Harlem site.   Legendary fashion photographer Juergen Teller apparently took the photos during the actual event which makes sense all of models would have been camera ready.

As can be seen in the images, everything is still intact within the local landmark but in a state glorious decay. An ornate stage can be seen in the background of one image, the lower balcony in another and the tapestry carpet along the mezzanine stairs are all quite recognizable.  All of the ads were published recently on the Alexander Wang Instagram site which has more updates on the current collection.  For more on the late winter presentation, check out our past post: LINK
