RESTORATION: TOWNHOUSES ON WEST 136TH STREET

Harlem Bespoke:  The unique row of townhouses on the north side of 136th Street just west of Lenox Avenue all have great bones but somehow are the last in the neighborhood to be fully restored.    With that said, this year has seen a big turn around since many of the brownstones that need renovations seem to be getting work done.  We walked down the street this past week and noticed that a couple of the buildings on the block are currently under construction and it appears that a few of these were former SROs.  A fixer upper on the block appears to going for well under $2 million these days: LINK
