Harlem Bespoke: The New York Times has another story on seeking a new apartment in Harlem and the hunt ends up at The Perch. After living in a studio in Manhattanville for 6 years, an executive assistant moved 2 stops north to Hamilton Heights at the new rental building called The Perch Harlem which is an eco-friendly building. Even though rent increased to $2,830 a month, the energy efficient building ended up cutting the electric bill in half and the space was brand new. Read more about the search in the Times:
