INTRODUCING: UPDATE AT NORTH END MARKET

Harlem Bespoke:  Back in 2017, there was a popup coffee shop at 4300 Broadway at the corner of  183rd Street on Broadway closed down but a new food hall call North End market was supposedly arriving soon after.  We received a tip in the past week mentioning that things are finishing up at the 16,000 square foot commercial storefront and thus headed up to Washington Heights to check things out.  As can bee seen in the above photos, the facade is pretty much finished but what eateries will be opening in the coming months?

Some signage out front provides clues on what to expect at uptown's first big restaurant court.  Popular Hamilton Heights pub Harlem Public will be one of the big headliners along with east Harlem's La Chula which is our preferred spot in El Barrio for tacos. Popular downtown chain Bareburger will debut its first presence in north Manhattan and a new ramen spot called Dashi will add some trendy eastern offerings to the mix.  Another newcomer to the area called Salt & Bone will apparently be the BBQ element featuring Texas style brisket as the specialty and a google search reveals that this smokehouse made a big splash in Astoria Queens a couple of years back.  When things are full running, hours will start early in the week from 11:00AM to 10:00PM and late nights heading to the weekends.
