Harlem Bespoke: We had not walked by the block of 145th Street just west of Lenox Avenue for some time and noticed that there was a demolition site at 119 West 145th Street. Those familiar with the north side of the street will remember that this used to be a gas station until recently. Apparently the property was purchased last spring for
$10.5 million and was demolished right away. We could not find any other permits for the address so what will rise up on the lot is still a mystery. With that said, the express train entrance on Lenox is just around the corner so there is potential to the location.
