DWELL: 14 SYLVAN TERRACE SOLD IN JULY

Harlem Bespoke:  Number 14 Sylvan Terrace by 161st Street arrived on the market for $1.589 million in early spring, had a contract out in only 3 weeks and records now show that the charmer sold for exactly the asking in July.  As previously noted, these wood frame townhouses on the top of Sugar Hill are on a charming cobblestone street facing the Morris Jumel Mansion and are just around the corner from the nearest subway station.

There are a lot of nicely restored details within the aforementioned home including a wood burning fireplace but the square footage is on the modest side for the 3-story layout.  With that said, having a renovated private house in the city at this price point is really rare these days so this address has proven to be popular with entry-level brownstone buyers.  More details can be found on Streeteasy: LINK
