CONSTRUCTION: GLASS AT 450 WEST 126TH STREET

Harlem Bespoke:  The last time we did a story on 450 West 126th Street at the former Taystee Bakery building site was last spring and now everything has really progressed.   Groundbreaking happened around summer 2017 and the first floor started to rise well over a year and half later.  Everything had topped off by early winter of 2019 and now the 11-story commercial building has started to install all the glass on the lower levels.  A brewery had been the anchor tenant at one point in time but it is a bit unclear right now if any commercial tenant is in place when everything finishes up later in the year.  Check out what the previously demolished building used to look like and also the original design plans in our past post: LINK
