The Little Red Lighthouse and the Great Gray Bridge is a children's book classic that is based on a true structure north of Harlem. Written in 1942 by Hildegarde H. Swift, the book is a great introduction to an iconic piece of landscape uptown. We recently rediscovered the aforementioned tower of rouge and thought a refresher down memory lane would be apropos.
