Harlem's boutique florist, Pollen Nation, announces their spring semester of floral classes, taught by Head Floral Designer and owner, Collin Abraham. The classes will take place at the Pollen Nation flagship store located in the heart of Harlem on historic 125th Street.Each class will tackle a different discipline within the realm of floral design, from simple care and handling to arranging, Pavé and Ikebana-style. Pollen Nation will provide all supplies and participants will take home whatever work they create each session. The price is $120 per class or $900 for the semester. The first class, Flowers 101: How to Tell a Rose From a Peony, is scheduled for Saturday, April 24, 2010 at noon. Each subsequent class will take place Saturdays at noon.
