☞ SHOP: Deli Arrives at 40 East 126th Street
Back in May, we noticed that the brownstone at the corner of East 126th street had the plywood removed from its Madison Avenue retail space to reveal an empty storefront ready to lease (top photo). This morning, some major awnings have arrived and are now currently being installed. The Oasis corner deli has the ubiquitous gourmet moniker so we aren't too sure that it's going to be any better than the typical modern delis popping up all over town. Regardless, another empty storefront down means more foot traffic and amenities to this sleepy section of upper East Harlem. Read our past posts on this corner of Madison Avenue: LINK
