☞ INTRODUCING: New Waistcoat Street Etiquette

We have been featuring the videos made by the Street Etiquette guys that show the sartorial revival in men's style and this week's montage focuses on the waistcoat.  The menswear piece most gentlemen call a vest are usually neutral in color but the stylish duo show how to add a little color and pattern to make the look less mundane.  Note once more that tailoring is important since the silhouette is fitted to the body.  We mentioned also recently that the Red Rooster's which opened this weekend has had their bar staff adopt this look which has trended on the streets and most restaurants downtown.  What's not shown in the video are the winter versions of the waistcoat which come in heavier wools, corduroy, tweeds and even plaid patterns. This video must have been one of the earlier films since the location on the upper east side is a little odd and the brownstone neighborhoods shown in other clips just look more apropos: LINK
