☞ REVIVE: Harlem Voted as Best of the Year
Harlem's Frederick Douglass Boulevard has officially won a coveted neighborhood of the Year Award on Curbed (which is New York City's biggest neighborhood and real estate site)! Out of all 16 notable neighborhoods of 2010, Harlem's FDB trumped difficult competitors such as Park Slope in Brooklyn and was up against Northside Williamsburg in the Finals over the Holiday weekend. With a huge rally to vote from local blogs and several Facebook sites, Harlem has now started 2011 with the first place Best Neighborhood in New York City title: LINK. Congratulations to all who made it happen in the past year!

Though my Heart will always hold Convent Ave/145st dear as my 1st NYC apt in 1992 (I've also lived at 143/b'way, 131/Lenox, & 114/ACP), I am Psyched & Proud to now rep 113st/FDB as my new Harlem love! Let's keep it tight y'all !
