☞ INTRODUCING: 2280 FDB at Fifty Percent Mark

A press release yesterday announced that 51% of units are now closed or under contract at 2280 FDB which is the 12-story, 89-unit residential development located at Fredrick Douglass Boulevard between 122nd and 123rd Streets. The new construction saw move-ins begin last July and is now approved for Fannie Mae financing since the condo has passed the 50% mark. Remaining residences at 2280 FDB range in size from 455 to 1,625 square feet and are priced from $339,000- $1.889 million. As far as the ground floor retail space goes, nothing has surfaced since Busboys and Poets decided to decline on setting up shop in this South Harlem location last year. www.2280FDB.com

  1. So Busboys isn't coming? That's so disappointing. Are they going to come to Harlem at all, or did that fall through as well?

  2. The DC based restaurant and performance space is apparently looking around Harlem but nothing has come up as far as potential locations.

  3. Major bummer about Busboys and Poets. I was so looking forward to it.

  4. I wonder why they pulled out? The location seems ideal. Maybe 2280 FDB are asking for too much $$$?

  5. Chris -- that would be really short-sighted and counterproductive if true.
