☞ SHOP: More Progress at 341 Lenox Avenue
The reported second location of Les Ambassades 341 Lenox Avenue (just north of 127th Street) has definitely been making progress in the past month and now new paint colors have appeared on the exterior of the forthcoming eatery. As of a couple of weeks back, a new facade with moulding details went up at the storefront, then some white primer followed by a bright red base color (top photo). A Harlem Bespoke reader just sent in the lower photo at the end of last week and one can see a vibrant turquoise has now accented the panels of the new shop. There's an eye for detail in this space that is starting to look like a chic, festive downtown bistro so let's hope more businesses uptown follow in this direction. All the new restaurant needs now is some great signage and a classic awning.

Nice cheerful colors, hope to see some brightly colored sidewalk umbrellas along with alfresco dining. Also, good synergy with the cultural gem Maysles cinema next door, this block is really coming along.
